ELIGIBILITY:

1.  Graduating High School Seniors who will attend a Technical or Trade School (minimum 2 year program)

 2.  Attending South Carroll, Linganore, Urbana, or Glenelg High Schoools

 AWARD: 

 $500.00 for each recipients.  Up to three (3) recipients from each high school will be selected.

 CRITERIA: 

 1. Student will submit a short essay (300 word minimum) that addresses how they have, or will work toward the Mission of the Lions Club, which is: To serve their communities, meet humanitarian needs, encourage peace and promote international understanding.

 2.  Student will submit a short statement (a sentence or two) of why they need this scholarship and how it will help them in their endeavors.

IMPORTANT DATES AND MAILING INSTRUCTIONS:

All applications MUST be postmarked no later than 15 April of each year
